Choosing a Catholic wedding photographer means choosing someone who not only understands the importance of your wedding day, but also reveres the sacredness of the Sacrament itself. Your Mass, your vows, and the moments surrounding them are more than just steps to follow through on. They are holy, intentional, and deeply meaningful moments that are deeply rooted in Tradition. As a Catholic photographer I approach your day with that understanding, ensuring that the focus remains on the transcendence of the day - a lifelong bond with the love of your life. 

Beyond understanding the liturgy, a Catholic photographer can anticipate and respectfully navigate the flow of a Nuptial Mass, knowing when to be present and when to step back. From the blessing of the incense to exchanging of vows to the Consecration of the Eucharist, each part of the Mass is documented with care, discretion, and intention. The result is a collection of images that not only preserve how your wedding looked, but also reflect the depth, peace, and grace of what was truly taking place. Participating in the Mass is my top priority, I kneel before the Body of Christ just as you kneel - all while ensuring you have the photos to remember it by.

1. Will you travel outside of South Carolina?

Yes yes yes! Since Charleston is my home base, there is no travel fee for up to 100 miles away roundtrip. For a wedding over 3 hours away, you would be booking my destination package, which works all of the travel costs into the package price. There are no hidden costs, you see the total upfront and can have peace of mind that I’ll be there on your day! 

2. How do I reserve my wedding date?

After you submit an inquiry we’ll hop on a call so I can learn more about your day and make sure we’re a good fit! After the call I’ll send over a proposal with the package we decided would be best for you. Through the proposal you can sign the contract and pay the non-refundable deposit, and then you’ll be locked in! It’s that easy, EEEEKK!!!

3. When and how do we get our photos back?

You will receive your FULL wedding album within 6 weeks of the day you tied the knot! The full gallery will be delivered through an online platform that displays all of the images. You can share this gallery with friends and family, view it on your phone, and even purchase prints!

4. what equipment do you use?

I use all of the latest Canon equipment. I always carry two Canon r6s on me. For lenses I use the Canon 28-70mm f/2, Canon 50mm f/1.8, Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 (this is my lifeline for the Catholic mass shots), and a few others! I also have two flashes, lots of batteries, and all of my film gear! I always have backups for the worst case scenario to ensure your special day is captured for a lifetime!

5. can you send us a full wedding gallery?

Yes, absolutely! Feel free to ask me for a full wedding gallery, and I will send one your way! If you want to see something specific make sure to mention that so I can send a gallery that showcases your request. 

6. do we get the unedited images as well?

As a photographer I pride myself as an artist, and my edited photos are the art. Because of this, to send you the unedited photos would be doing you an injustice. Any photos you receive from me will be fully edited and curated just as a true work of art would be.
